Change User Profile is part of the Construction subsystem within ECMS. It is part of Application Security and it is available to all users.
<p>Change User Profile is the primary mode of changing a user's password. It also allows the user to change phone number, fax number, email address and security question and answer. The email address and security question and answer are retained in order for the user to request their forgotten password via the link in the Navigation bar. After successfully answering the security question, the user's password is emailed to the profile email address.<br /><br />If the user forgets his/her password, he/she can click on the 'Forgot Your Password?' link on the Navigation bar and that will launch the Automated Password Reset function. NOTE: The user must have previously entered a security question and answer in the user profile to be able to use this function. The Automated Password Reset function is very similar to the Change User Profile function.<br /></p>

Description
