Download and Install PENNDOT Document Viewer

<BLOCKQUOTE>This function is part of the Contractor Services subsystem and is used to download the setup file from which the user can install the PENNDOT Document Viewer. The viewer is available from links on the eBidding home page. It allows the user to view any document attached to an ECMS screen, including the Bid Proposal Attachment – a report document which contains in one file all of the scanned attachments included in the Bid Package.

Description

Step-by-Step Directions

User Action Result
Navigate to the ECMS Welcome page. The welcome page is displayed, with the navigation bar on the left.
*****Download Setup File*****
Click the Contractor Services option on the navigation bar. The Contractor Services option expands and shows the available options.
Click the eBidding option beneath Contractor Services on the navigation bar. The eBidding home page is displayed.
Click the link corresponding to the Document View you wish to download. The File Download dialog box is displayed.
Choose “Save to Disk” from the radio button options. The Save As dialog box is displayed.
Browse to the location where you want to save the setup file then click the SAVE button. A status box is displayed and shows you the percentage of the file that has been saved to the location.

NOTE: If you already have a version of the Document Viewer on your machine, please uninstall the previous version and reboot your computer before installing a new version.

Select “Add / Remove Programs” Add/Remove Programs window is displayed.
Select FileNet IDM Desktop and click the Remove button FileNetIDM Desktop application will be uninstalled
Restart the Computer Computer Restarted.
