This function is part of the Rail Freight subsystem and is used to accept a Grant Application. The Accept a Grant Application function provides part of the Rail Freight Grant Application functionality and is accessed from the RFAP Grant Application function under the Rail Freight category on the navigation screen. This function enables the user to accept the application to request grant money to fund projects that involve Maintenance and/or Construction.
<p>The Accept a Grant Application function can be accessed from RFAP Grant Application option on the navigation bar.<br /><br />The Accept a Grant Application function can be accessed by the $RF REVIEWER group with the 'Reviewer' role and the $RF ADMINISTRATOR group with the 'RFAdmin' role.</p>

Description

Step-By-Step Directions

User Action Result
Log into ECMS as a user from the authorized user groups. The ECMS welcome page appears with your user ID and the navigation bar on the left.
Select the Rail Freight menu item under the PENNDOT Systems subsection. The RFPW welcome page appears with your user ID and the navigation bar on the left.
Select the RFAP Grant Application under the Rail Freight Subsection menu. The RFAP Application Home Page is displayed
Select one of the view links. The Applications by Name or Applications by Phase view screens will be displayed listing all grant applications.
Select the application that is in Accepted status that you want to Aprove. The Grant Application will open in data entry mode.
Click OK. A message box will appear confirming that the Application will be Approved.
Click OK. A message appears indicating the document was saved successfully.
Click OK. The RFAP Application Home Page is displayed.
